CONTINUING EDUCATION

Pee Dee Area Health Education Center (AHEC) provides continuing education offerings based on needs and requests to enhance and enrich the practice of healthcare professionals. Our programs are approved for credit by discipline-specific accrediting agencies to help the professional maintain certification and licensure.

Registration and Payment

Online Registration is required (7 calendar days) prior to a program.  If your payment is not received 7 days prior to the program, a $10.00 late fee will be added to your regisration fee.  If you have any questions, please call 843-777-5343 or use the CONTACT US section at the bottom of this page.  Your AHEC ID will be the two-digit month of birth, two-digit day of birth and the last four digits of your social security number.

Please note that the only way to complete a successful registration is to become a member of our online community.

Cancellations and Refund Policy:

If you are not able to attend a program, substitutes are acceptable with notification.  If you are not able to attend the program and notify us within 48 hours, we will issue a full refund.  If AHEC must cancel the program, we will issue a full refund. If you register, do not attend, and do not cancel within 48 hours of the program date, you or your agency may be billed for the full amount of the registration fee.  

Online Evaluations and Certificates:

Evaluations and Certificates are available on line.  After program attendance you will receive an automatically generated email with a link to the program evaluation.  You will then be directed to the sign in page on the Pee Dee AHEC website.  Upon logging in with your AHEC ID and password, you will receive your certificate.  All programs offered by Pee Dee AHEC meet SC AHEC Best Practice Standards.  You must be present for 90% of the program in order to receive credit.  No partial credit can be given. 

Duplicate Certificates
There is a $5.00 charge for a duplicate certificate. Payment must be received before the request can be processed.  (This applies to programs before June 13, 2012.  Certificates are made available in your History section of our website.  Certificates can be printed from your History whenever you have a need).
